    Test Mode settings??

    I am being asked by worldpay to do the following prior to activation
    ==================================
    Please change the testmode variable from

    <INPUT TYPE=HIDDEN NAME="TESTMODE" VALUE="1">
    to
    <INPUT TYPE=HIDDEN NAME="TESTMODE" VALUE="100">
    ===================================

    Can anyone tell me precisely how to make this change. I don't know where to find this piece of code.

    I have set Actinic to run in Test Mode and uploaded.

      Thanks Jo. Unfortunately Worldpay is telling me its to do with Actinic.

      If I click on actinic to 'Run in Test Mode' do I then do a normal Upload or do I need to Refresh the website. I can't see any difference on my pages when I have uploaded to Test Mode.

      Similarly when I switch back do I need a Refresh.

        Barry Actinic Test Mode setting changes the location of the Actinic files on your website and is used for testing changes in Actinic settings away from the public eye.

        Worldpay Test Mode tests the interraction between your Actinic site and the Worldpay processing servers.

        No relationship between the two at all.

        The changes you are being asked to make are done in the CommonOCC folder inside your Actinic site folder (Site1 if you only have the default site). The specific file in this case will be OCCWorlpayScriptTemplate.pl - you need to open it with a text editor (not Word). Notepad is OK.

          Thanks Bill,

          I seem to be OK now and Worldpay have put the payments through to Live.
          I have switched back to Production Mode , and put through a real order on my Switch card.

          I got everything as it should be except that when downloading in Actinic the transaction did not make it past Pending PSP into Pending.

          Using the Worldpay screens and the transaction ID I can see the card payment is OK.

          I'll have to wait for another order to be sure.

            This could be down to the script timing out on your server before the response comes back from WP. If it continues to happen, see if they and your host can jointly investigate the timing.
