Emails don't look right!

Whenever a customer orders from us and they get an email to confirm this the part of the email that contains the produts lines and prices is never aligned properly...example below:

Shopping Cart (Prices in British Pounds)
DESCRIPTION QUANTITY PRICE COST
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Crushed Cabernet Scrub (250g) 1 £26.00 £26.00

Subtotal: £26.00
Shipping (First Class Recorded Delivery): £3.95

Are there any ready made templates? The divider lines are too long and they are making the alignment of everything else get messed up.

Has anyone else had this problem?

The email templates are in plain text and cannot be aligned.

This has been covered but there is no sensible way (if any) and is better to stick to the plain text to ensure most user client compatibility.

As a side note, the up-sell products on the site "this product works well with" ... would benefit from having the whole square clickable and not just the product.
