    Excess Weight

I have set up shipping bands by zone, with weights and appropriate charges against each weight. I have also checked 'Don't allow excess weight'. As such i would not expect actinic to allow someone to order > 10kg. Clearly, I have put a weight against each product.

When I enter or increase a quantity ordered to above my largest "weight in kg" the shipping charge seems to go awol and I get a prompt for 'Class of Service' which I am trying to get rid of.

It then goes on to request all the personal info before finally telling the customer to **** off, with some standard text which I would like to change. (Perhaps I might be a tad more polite than the above !!).

Is there any way to get the excess weight rejection when they first enter a delivery destination.

You can edit the text in the messages by searching for the desired message in 'Design | Text'.

Can I suggest that rathar than trying to block heavy orders, that you maybe have a more expensive courier shipping charge for this. Surely if someone places a heavy order, you still want to take the order, but just don't want to be out of pocket with the shipping.
