Error while uploading

Subsequent to my last post, I found a way to overcome the Snapshot issue. I have moved my site from one local PC here to another by exporting and importing the Snapshot. However, now when I upload from the new machine I am getting an error message stating that an error occured while merging files on the remote server. I get a long HTML page though can't see the error at the bottom or an 'OK' button as the text is too long.

I have tried to re-upload from the 'old' PC and also again with the new one to no avail. I have completely refershed the web site from the new PC and still the problem.

Am running 6.1.2 Business on 2000 (old) and an XP machine (new) with Redhat and Apache.

Does anyone have any ideas what's going on?

Check whether you have any kind of firewall or proxy on the XP machine that is not there on the 2000 machine.

If you have, check whether it is that which is causing the problem by temporarily disabling it and then trying an Actinic upload.

You can enter proxy details in the 'Advanced | Network Setup' window.
