    "Secure channel support" error message

    Hello,
Am trying to test the settings on behalf of a family member who is setting up an internet business.

I keep getting the error message "An error occurred in the secure channel support" before defaulting to another more generic message.

I see that the domain is "http://domain.co.uk" but the Rapid SSL certificate is for "www.domain.co.uk".

Might this be the cause of the problem? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

    Thanks,
    J

Most people run their sites using www, therefore if your sites is visible at www.domain.co.uk you would ask for your SSL cert to be issued to www.domain.co.uk

If however you only propose to use http://domain.co.uk your SSL cert should match and be issued to https://domain.co.uk

Thanks for the prompt reply. I've contacted the ISP to check.
