urgent cart question

sorry to be a pina but the when i add things to my cart they are not showing up (www.beddingcentres.co.uk/home_page.html)

anyone any ideas where i have gone wrong

All your cgi seems to be messed up as the left hand navigation doesn't work either.

nor does the link you gave us in your initial post

thanks. not sure whats going on with it though. managed to get the cart to work but now my component prices are not working so if i order one size the price doesnt change event though all the permutations are set to "override"

If I click on any of the moving circles from the home page they are all 'page not found'... Maybe you should start again from a blank template!

i know about the moving circles they just havent been linked up yet. im more concerned about the fact that the permutations no longer work. so wen i select a bed size they dont change the price

We can't see what you have setup without some effort to explain Sinead. Explain how you have it setup or provide some screenshots and more people can then help. It's the blind leading the blind otherwise. Have you filled in permutations through the fill tab?

On a side note, if visitors can't get to the shop at all as things aren't "linked up yet", this should be your biggest concern. At least if the cart buggers you have a small chance of a telephone call, as it is now i would expect 100% of people to leave.

very true hack thanks but i really wanna sort this cart problem out first. kind of a vendetta now ha ha

ok permutations all set up as normal in the sub section there is the basic price then in the component permutations section i have the sizs and the relevant prices set to override

all of the components are the same (not same prices but same format) they worked yesterday and not sure why they are not today. in additions certain products are just doubling their price automatically as well. is it a case of start again?

for example:

this mattress lowest price is 199 so i have put this in the prices tab of the product section (sorry have no print screen as using a mac and running two op systems)

Next i have created a component called "bed Size" and have created the various bed sizes undernead using atributes and then choices.

I have then gone to permutations and selected the various sizes and seleceted override so i can enter the new price.

however, this is now not working

Plus. if i add something to the cart and then try and view the cart, it shows there is nothing in there.

if any one could shed some light on this i would really appreciate it!

It's behaving peculiar for me also, can you compact the database and then "refresh" the website not update it, see if that cures anything. Either something has corrupted or it has been messed up by the user. What work have you been doing since you were last sure it was ok?

then give us screen images of permutations that don't work, ie the components box with all its values etc

have just compacted the data base and it told me to restart actinic so have restarted it and uploaded the site again and nothing has changed. really tumped on this one!
