We've had several instances where customers have chosen the 'pay by phone' option in our checkout and when we've enquired why they chose that method they said they actually chose the 'pay online' option but it just went straight to the receipt screen. When we look in actinic they have chosen the 'pay by phone' option.
I'm pretty sure that this is due to scrolling buttons on mice - ie. they select 'credit card payment online' from the drop down menu, then try to scroll down the page and of course the 'focus' is in the menu so it scrolls the options not the screen and they don't notice what they've done...
...sooooo... can the checkout be changed to use maybe radio buttons instead of a drop down menu? That will get rid of this problem and display all the options without them having to pull the menu down to see what's available...
