Sage Line 50

Hi we are looking at Sage Line 50 Financial controller and using the Actinic Link for transferring data to and from Sage.

Given that we cannot test the Actinic Link with Sage Line 50 as part of our evaluation does anybody know if we could have Sage line 50 set up remotely on a server and then run Actinic Link over a VPN i.e. the PC where we have Actinic set up remotely connects to Sage on the server.

Mark,

Link can connect to Sage over a LAN so if configured right I think you can get it to work over a VPN. I would suggest going over the manual, 'Getting Started with Actinic Link' as connecting to Sage over a LAN is covered in there.

If anyone has Sage working as mentioned in the post above, please do post here.
