    Shipping Table Error Help please

This hasn't been a problem up until now but since upgrading from v7.0.6 to v 7.0.7 overseas purchasers are getting the default message:

Select Shipping Destination - Your order has exceeded the shipping tables defined by the supplier, therefore it is not possible to calculate the shipping cost. Please contact the supplier with this information as they will be happy to process your order and will then be able to correct the shipping tables.
    Thank you.

When they checkout the Select Invoice Location has only three options,

    Select country
    UK
    None of the above

Only the UK works irrespective of the Selected shipping destination being set to the appropriate location.

    What's going wrong?
    How is it corrected?

Sounds like the classes within the zone have disappeared. Can you confirm that both the zone and classes are showing in the shipping area? Maybe the 7.07 patch has an issue with not bringing over the correct shipping tables or maybe even completely misses out certain things. Maybe worth also checking the tax settings, see if they have been messed up also.

Thanks for your help Lee, I've checked the tax tables and that's fine.

I've checked the shipping tables and there are several options available. Even checking that the weight hasn't maxed out for the zone/class.

I have even downloaded the shipping tables from the Actinic Website and applied those too. But still the same problem. I've been up all night/morning trying to work this out!
      Any further suggestions?

Not sure i can add anything more of any use to be honest, more often than not when the zone doesn;t show, it is because it has no classes within it or there is a tax issue. Was this definitely working previously? I know that mind sound silly, but when was last time you had an order from overseas? Was it deffo working prior to the upgrade?

Im up for another 20 mins or so, if you want me to take a look at a snapshot for you, by all means mail me one. It's hard to put into words what to do as i'd be running round like a headless chicken looking at many things etc. most of which would be useless, however important to remove from the possibilities.

There was an issue recently with the actinic shipping tables and they were withdrawn because of it for a while. Maybe worth setting up the bare minimum to just see what is happening.

May also be worth posting a screenshot of what you have, sometimes it's so easy to miss something glaring at you. The screenshot can often highlight this to you or in fact one of us can see it.

The overseas orders were working before the upgrade and the tax tables OK too.

The orders have been thinner on the ground generally due to the addition of Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. There has been precious little made known about this to the general public as opposed to the Chip & Pin campaign. So people think it's a scam or a con until they realise that it's a genuine security measure.

I forced the cart to accept an order from the UK and then changed it to Canada/Alberta that worked and then changed it to USA with a Chicago address that worked.

Although now Actinic even without checking the box still remembers me so I can't tell if this is running correctly now.

Why hasn't the invoice location come up with a country selection and only give three choices?

Thanks for the snapshot offer but it's too big to email. I may give it a break too and see what happens later. Need a break.

The tables were mine to begin with and not Actinic's own as I have different services depending on where it goes and what service is required.

Im getting a prompt asking me to select invoice location and to select shipping destination. It is specifying by way of a checkbox that only UK customers can ship to an address outside of the uk. Therefore if i select uk, i can then select whatever country i like.

I think it's working as it is set up to be honest. It is telling me that if im in uk, i can select to ship to anywhere i want, if not then i can't.

If you delete the cookies stored on your pc, it will not rememeber what you have chosen previously and you will get to see it as i am.

It appears to be working OK now. If i select none of the above or the UK for invoice location (only 2 options), i can then choose wherever i want it to go to.

Ive just gone through and ordered some cufflinks to be shipped to kuwait and it has let me do it fine, i abandoned at the PROTX page.

It's always been set up that way Lee. I will send to aonther Uk address but to stop scamming only the Card address is shipped to anywhere else.

Although it has been reported that even with Uk selected and a USA for delivery it doesn't work either.

Should there be a drop down list for invoice location?

What's the point of Select location when it refuses to accept one?

Yep pain to go and find them though.

Even as I wwrite this I've just had a scam order from Kyrgyzstan and an aborted Protx payment. So even though it's a rubbish it is accepting overseas orders!

They hit the Protx site and then Paypal. Is this the one with all H's for details?

I set up cheque by post and card by phone as UK only to stop some joker who kept ordering vast numbers of things that threw my stock records out!

You can block IP addresses with PROTX, when you have numpties messing around, which can help.
