Grrrr. I've got a problem on my products page(s)...

    Hi All,

I've just got through the process of uploading my first database (with the help of this forum), and now have come across another problem.

It's more than likely something i've overlooked... like normal

Anyway, above my product listings there seems to be line after line of blank space appearing. I'm presuming its something to do with either a redundent or rogue variable.

Please view the link below for an example...

    Any sugguestions would be amazing

    Cheers in advance

I don't have any idea what's causing it but the table cell containing the table with <Actinic:SECTION BLOB="A0001.cat"/> in it is displayed with loads of space before the inner table. I discovered this by turning on all the borders and inserting some text to identify the cells. There are no random <BR> or <P> tags, oversized images, or anything.

The only thing I think of is that either the lefthand or righthand panel is forcing the height and the browser is just trying to balance everything up.

Sorry that I can't help more (I like solving these mysteries)

You seem to have fixed it (great looking site by the way!)

You probably found it was a space or a <BR> outside of the structure of a table in your Product Layout template - Internet Explorer always dumps this extraneous code at the top of the table.

It's not wasn't an IE issue, MZ did the same thing. I would be interested to know what was causing the problem.

          Hi guys,

yeah soon after posting the initial message and looking around the HTML templates I found the problem.

Basically there was an image graphic caught between a <table> and <tr> in one of the templates. After removing this, everything was a-ok!!

I think the rule for this error is, everyone - keep an eye on your HTML, and remember, a page IS seperated on a series of pages!!

          Cheers All
