    Customer Accounts & Credit Limits

Search the forum and found some answers. However, most were for V6 so I'd like some update re: V7.

Previous thread got a resounding NO to having individual debit accounts. Can we set a credit limit for each account?

Is it still true that only stops a single order from exceeding the limit?

If so, then we'd have to adjust the limit downward so the buyer couldn't exceed the amount put into their debit account. Would that work...albeit with a good deal of maintenance required on the 200-300 accounts anticipated?

    Thanks for any input.

You can set a 'Maximum order value' per account and you will have to reduce it depending on the spend. Like you said, this would require a lot of maintenance but it is the way to go.

Actinic can import customer account information via a hierarchical spreadsheet, you could use this to export data, amend to the required amounts and then import back into Actinic.
