    Limited By Location

    Hi there - I just set up "Limited By Location" to try and stop all the silly foreign orders we get (we can't effectively send heavy machinery abroad).

    So I just added "United Kingdom" to the valid countries. It works.....but gives the user a drop down box to choose either "United Kingdon" or "None of the above" !!!!! So in fact it doesn;t work at all.

    How do I limit orders to just United Kingdon and thats all ?

    I never used the "Limited by Location" feature when I did UK only. I just had the shipping set up with a UK band only (I assume that's why I never had a dropdown box for "country" in the checkout)

    As your shipping is inclusive, I'm assuming you have the "shipping charges made" option in Business Settings>Shipping & Handling UNchecked?

    Perhaps checking this box and setting up a (free) shipping band for a UK zone only would remove this dropdown?

    I'm no expert though...I'm sure someone else can confirm or deny.
    I just know that this is how I had mine set up and I didn't have the countries dropdown (until Sunday anyway!)

      Rookers,

      To get the 'None of the above' to disappear, go to 'Business Settings | Tax' , under Tax zones, click on 'No Tax Levied' and then check the box that appears at the bottom that says 'Do not allow "None of the Above" as a zone member'.

      Then click on 'EU Tax Zone' and delete it. This will leave you with only the UK tax zone. You can undo the linited by location and delete any additional shipping zones you have on the 'Shipping and Handling' tab.

      Save and update the store. You should now only have the United Kingdom as an option.
