    Price breaks in Catalog

I understand that Business is desined to have Qty based pricing structutres, but there is nothing in Catalog. Is there any way of emulating price breaks in Catalog?

The only method I can think of is to have say 3 products - 1 for each price break with minimum and maximum orderable quantities set to the break parameters and each with its own price.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

    Hi Matt

You're right - the only way of emulating price breaks in Catalog is to set up a product for each one. Of course, these can then be hidden and associated to a component of the main product if you want the price breaks to be selected from a dropdown list.

      Hi Ben,

Thanks for the reply - i thought that was the case. Ideally I want 1 buy now button but as it will be on qty i don't think that attributes etc are going to be able to produce the correct results - because of this I have had to make two products for a price break - one with min:1 and max:24 then the second min:25 max:0

The only problem with this is that there are obviously two qty boxes and buy buttons, but without paying the extra money for business, i guess we have to make a compromise!
