Upload FTP problems

The site has been up and running for several months. I have been making regular updates but all of a sudden I get this error report

Unable to connect to the FTP server "ftp4.inweb.co.uk". The computer is disconnected from the network

I have not changed any of the settings and I get the same error report if I try a test from the network setup. I can access the site using my normal FTP program ( so the security details are unchanged).

Any ideas please?? Forgive me if I have posted in the wrong forum but the other one suggests if is for new installs and this is not.

If the network settings test gives an error then something has changed, be it at the host end or yours.

Try and break down the possibilities. Check the obvious again such as passwords and usernames - export the settings from Actinic and try them in a new FTP client connection. Check for any FTP restrictions in your host control panel on the directories required for Actinic (domain root folder, cgi-bin and acatalog). Check your firewall settings - make sure Actinic has full access.
