Act_Primary Only!?

Could I use Act_primary as the sole template of the whole site? Does this have any implications if I needed an about us, contact us pages etc?

Act_primary is the master template for the whole site, it contains the company logo and navigation

you then use other templates for the detail on each page.

ie act_section line for section pages

act_productline for products,
