line item discount problem

Hi,

Trying to set up a discount coupon which has gone ok but having a problem on downloading orders and the way Actinic distributes the discount.

Actinic V7 Business. Have set a coupon discount of £1 off for example when you enter coupon code on checkout.

When they are downloaded as orders though there is a problem. If for example two products are ordered then Actinic creates two extra order lines and gives a discount to each product, with the amount being determined it seems by the percentage of the total cost. So for example if you have two products with values of £40 and £20 for a total £60. Then when you donwloaded this will distribute the £1 coupon discount to 66% to the £40 line item and 33% to the £20 item.

I don't want this I just want a new order line item of a £1 discount.

The consolidate tick boxes seem to achieve this but only when you are ordering it seems to change when they are downloaded to me.

Any help or ideas or have I missed a simple setting

Probably best to provide a screenshot of what you have setup, i'd expect a wrong setting or a tick box wrongly selected/deselected.

Hi,

On further investigation this habit of splitting the discount between products only seems to happen on orders under £100. Since we sell haberdashery then this is the majority of our orders.

I have included five screen shots. Of specific general settings for the Club15 coupon, and the miscellaneous tab, one of the items being ordered with coupon applied (though with the annoying habit of discount not being at the bottom, see my other open post) and then two downloaded line items shots. The same products were ordered, just the quantities changed so that they go over £100.

have also just downloaded a trial version of V8 and it is doing the same thing. Distributing £off saving between line items.

Looking at the screenshots I can see that you have set multiple discounts for your store. Can you check if you have set the highest discount at the top of the list down to the least one at the bottom and update the site to see if it makes any difference.
