Pre-populate an Actinic Shopping Cart from external URL

I was wondering if there was a way to Pre-populate an Actinic Shopping Cart.

My Situation: I built an Actinic Shopping Cart for a company that has less than 100 products, but they manufacture and distribute the products under 5 different Brands. Each Brand has their own personal informative website but send the patrons of the website to the collective Actinic Shopping Cart on a separate URL to make their final product purchase.

Solution: Can I create a simple shopping cart on each of these sites -> this would gather and store what the Web Client wants to purchase -> then I could send the information (maybe as a stored cookie) to the Actinic Store for the final purchase?

Many thanks for all your advice on this...

Have a look in the Advanced Users Guide for 'Add to cart from anywhere on the Internet' I think that will do what you want.

That solution works well for the most part - but I would really like the Actinic Cart to Redirect the user back to my origin site -> I tries to add the ACTINIC_REFERRER=myorginsite.com/clothing/ but the cart still sends me to the default ACATALOG page...

Have you had any luck with something like this.

You can see my experiment here:
        http://capitasnowboarding.com/softgoods/

I am sending the user to an ACATLOG cart at http://www.c3-shop.com/

After they add the product -> I want them to go back to http://capitasnowboarding.com/softgoods/

Then I will place a link to the CHECKOUT (checkout from anywhere on the internet)

Thank you again for your expertise.

That will be a wish list item, or you will have to check to see if there is another method to be able to do this.
