    Secure Website

A customer has told me today that because our website isn't secured/password protected that anyone with Frontpage could alter our website and have suggested we secure/password it.

We're secure on checkout but I don't know what she means or how to prevent it from happening.

    Can anyone offer any advice?

    They are correct......

as long as you have published your ftp details for everyone to see!

Not possible, you have nothing to worry about, how many sites do you visit that are totally secure??

Thank you, you've put my mind at rest.

I have to say I had thought along the lines that you've mentioned and guessed that the only damage they could do is if they knew your site's FTP Password to upload any changes.
