Editing main page

Hi

I'm just uploading my site for some testing, I want to remove the product catagories from the main window and just have the photo and text at the bottom. I'm stumped!

Whatever you are seeing in the code in the left hand column has been replicated in the main section. Compare the two areas and note a netquotevar (probably) that is the same in both areas and delete the one from the unwanted area. Act_primary.html i would imagine.

I have to admit that what you've said goes straight over my head!
Would this be in the template manager?

Looks like you have acatalog set as your home page in which case you cannot do what you want - you will need to use a brochure page as your index (Little house at the top of the content tree) and add a fragment

open up Act_Primary.html and paste the code into here, may be quicker than trying to explain.

Try this and see if it helps, goto Desing | Options | Sections in there set "Default Location and Arrangement of Section Lists" to "None" and that should do the trick.
