    Template Manager - editing ERROR

I am trying to edit the email template that is sent out went an order has been shipped. I have changed it before, so i know it's possible, now when i go back to make further changes, the only way i can seem to do it is by opening the txt file in note pad or word pad, making the changes and then saving it.

I know it's possible to edit template using the template manager but i keep getting an error message, here's exactly what happens:

Advanced | Template Manager | Miscellaneous | Email | Order Shipped

"The .EXE file specified in the template editor is not valid (non-Win32.exe or error in .EXE image).
    Please edit the command line."

then i click OK and the template editor box appears with command line and then a text box -

what do i need to type in this box to get the template i am looking for?

I have also clicked on browse and then found
    ....\Site1\Act_OrderShipEmail.txt %s but this doesn't work either.

Does anyone know what i am talking about and how can i fix this problem?

It's not just his template that i can't open it's ALL of them - my template Manager doesn't seem to be working.

    Please help.

Thanks in advance for all assistance and suggestions.

The full path to the editor .exe file with ' %s' after it (without the quotes). For example:

    C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe %s
