    Format of sitemap?

    Hi all,

    I would be grateful for a hint on how to format my sitemap correctly. I'm using one of the standard Catalog templates but the section entries are not indented correctly. The lines are all over the place, when there should be perfect order, i.e. section, then indented subsections and further indented sub-subsections.

    Any feedback would be greatly apreciated! Many thanks

    All the best

      Hi Jo,

      I know, it looks that way. I havn't been able to find a way to turn off centering for the sitemap though, there seems no settting for it under DESIGN options and the template simple mentions placeholders and no formatting!?

      Any ideas?

      Many thanks

        I copied your source and left aligned the sitemap along with the rest of the page so a center tag must be causing it somewhere.

        Have you choosen a different template for the search page as there is an option under Design for this. I dont have Actinic loaded on this PC so cant tell you anymore.

          Hi Gary,

          I've had a good look around in 'Design' but just cannot find where to choose the search template. Under the LAYOUTS tab there are no options for the sitemap or search templates, just some other things like Login Page layout or Front Page layout.

          I'm not sure where you have seen them?

          Help is greatly appreciated!

            In the template manager change Act_Sitemap.html to this

            <!-- SiteMap HTML begin -->
            <!-- Insert HTML for the top of the sitemap page -->

            NETQUOTEVAR:SPLASHTEXTBODY

            <div align="left">NETQUOTEVAR:SITEMAP</div>

            <!-- Insert HTML for the bottom of the sitemap page -->
            <!-- SiteMap HTML end -->

            Hope that helps

              ahhhh.....

              This one fixed it - simple once you think of it!

              And there was I, looking for a tickbox or a dropdown box (i.e. hand holding). All it needs sometimes is to think lateral and code it yourself.

              Thanks a lot Gary, it looks much better now.
