What does the error message say exactly, do you have a screen shot?

Are you using v7 with Windows Vista?

If you are then Version 7.0.7 fully supports Windows Vista. However there are a few known issues:

Amending Product or Brochure Fragments or switching between the 'General' and 'Links' tab for a Fragment generates an 'Out of memory' error. To fix this issue, first backup your current Catalog.exe file, which is usually in 'C:\Program Files\Actinic v8. Then download the Out of memory patch zip file and extract the new Catalog.exe into the same folder.

The zip can be found here :

I'm not using Windows Vista, I'm on Windows 98.
But I will try the patch, because as you explain is exactly what is happening.
I'll run the patch and keep you posted.
            Thanks.

Opps....... Is there a patch for Windows 98???

Maybe there's a version of VMWare that runs on Windows 98 that allows you to run XP inside it. (WIndows Virtual PC does not run on W98)

Although perhaps it's time to upgrade to XP maybe?

I assume you've tried restarting your computer?

In my experience Actinic 7 had memory leaks which were fixed in v8

There was a similar report a couple of years back. In that case an upgrade to WinXP fixed it.
