Does anybody know if an update is required for Actinic Link to work correctly, I dont want our company to upgrade unless Link will work ok with this new version.

Unfortunately, Sage told all their developer partners (i.e. Actinic) about v10 only just before they told all their customers (i.e. you).
It is highly likely that Actinic Link will not work with Sage v10 yet. We are currently testing with v10 and making the necessary updates. We will release a free upgrade as soon as it is ready. -

When Actinic Link is installed and connected to Sage, it has to register itself with the 'Sage Data Objects' plug-in. Sage change this from version to version so we need to release a new version that will register itself with the v10 plug-in. The current version will not do this, and therefore will not work.Comment
