    problems with discounting

    Can anyone help please.
I am having a problem with developer trying to do the following:

I want to offer a free gift over £40.00 on several gifts on a page, so people can choose the one they want.
I cannot seem to do this.
Can someone guide me through this please as the help section in actinic is very limited and not easy to understand.

    Thanks.

    Wayne.

Can you let us know what you have done so far or even possibly provide some screenshots, we'd hate to go over old ground and spend half the time explaining how to do things you've already done.

      Hi,

      Thank you for your reply.

I have a discount set up already to offer a free gift when you spend over £40.00
I have set this to a specific product which works fine, however i would like them to choose from a group of products, say around 4 from our website

The problem is when you click on link in the cart saying "free product" this goes to the whole 3500 products for them to choose and not the 4!

      added: view in cart.

      Discounting Information
Get a link/free by spending £36.51 more on link products.

I simply want the first link to link to the page with the 4 products on so the customer can choose one, and not the whole 3500 as it does at the minute.

      Can you help?

      Thanks.

      Wayne.

You will have to create a product group which has a limited set of products to be able to achieve what you are after. This has been well documented on the forum, a search will provide you with a few examples too.
