Multiple Choices for each option in a product

I'm not looking for specific answers here (although if there are any out there then that would help!) but just looking to find out if the following is do-able in anyway in Actinic (v7)?

I sell 'standard' Aromatherapy Kits on my site. The problem is each size kit is 'standard' in that it contains a fixed list of oils. One of my main competitors allows the customer to choose the box size by 'Radio Buttons' and then also select the oils required also by 'multiple-choice radio buttons' which allows the customer to choose exactly the Kit he/she requires. (their link here if anyone wants to view> http://www.baseformula.com/viewKit.p...c44f3ef97cde40)

I have set up other products where the customer can select ONE choice of, say, Colour, and ONE choice of say, Size. I haven't yet started to play with 'Choice' and 'Components' but from memory I have a feeling Actinic can't do multiple choices on one option. Any ideas out there?

    Thanks in advance.

perhaps the Normatrix could help you do this?
    Details HERE (with a demo)

Maybe someone else could clarify if this would work?

Wow, that certainly looks promising, not that I'm sure that I've got the know how on installing things like that. I've been thinking about getting Actinic Cover anyway...does Actinic help/support with these kind of add-ons?

      Many thanks for your help....

Norman at Drillpine provides the information to instal yourself.
Instructions are step-by-step and, dare I say it, idiot-proof (which wil probably make him laugh as I approached him with a query today lol)

I've successfully done both the Collapso and the Tabbed descriptions add-on and, quite honestly, if I can do it...anyone can..truly!

It's not as bad as it looks, honest

ps...I doubt Actinic support/cover would offer assistance of this nature

Thanks for that Tracey, it would have to be 'idiot proof' for me to do but thanks for raising my hopes!

However, have thought about it briefly and have just realised something. For my Matrix I can see 2 problems:

          1. I will have up to about 39 choices, so will this list just carry on going to the right of the page or is there a 'wrap' function so that it will present itself in many rows.

          and

          2. (the biggest problem) each of my choices is a different price (they are all listed as products on their own page), and it looks like the example shown is based on a single price regardless of the customer choice?

Sorry....guess I should be asking Drillpine this really but grateful if you have any thoughts....

          Thanks again

well, I can't help with the formatting of the table. Having never used it, I really don't know how it "works", if you see what I mean.

As for the prices, you can set up each "choice" with an associated product (which you may have on site anyway..or it can be hidden) so you can allocate a different price to each choice, no problems.

I'd contact Drillpine and ask them as obviously Norman will know all these answers
