Not getting my copy of the confirmation email

I know there are a lot of 'emails not working' threads, but this is a bit different...

My customer DOES get their confirmation email
But I don't get the 'order received' email or my copy of the order details.

"send me an order when I have an order to download" is ticked and "send receipt email copies to" is set to a valid, working email address.

These are the results of the mail test in network setup -
    Code:
    Actinic Mail Test completed successfully
    server: passed
    connection:	passed
    sockets: passed
    communications:	passed
    authorisation:	passed
    message: -
I'm using webfusion, localhost for the mail server, no username/pwd

    Any suggestions...?
    John

nope. using mole automation, which takes the order and exports the invoice as a PDF and emails it to me on the same email address...

Webfusion had big problems yesterday with their data centre in Leeds. Has this been sporadic or constant issue?

Just tried a test order, and the customer confirmation email arrived straight away. On my other sites the customer confirmation email is identical to the copy I get (same contents, same subject, same from address) except for the to: address, so that pretty much rules out spam filters (I use mailwasher anyway, I checked the deleted logs just to make sure).

But the customer email definately working, my copy definately not working...

No silly mistakes like no space in between the email addresses or typos? email in business settings tally up etc?

the copy customer email address doesn't need to be the same as anything else in the business settings, if that's what you mean, Lee?

I have a different email address set up specifically for receiving the copy of the customer email.

just cut and pasted the email from the 'send receipt email copies to' field into the to: box of an outlook email and sent a test email - arrived just fine, so no errors in the address or trailing spaces or anything like that.

Would it perhaps be commas instead of full stops?

That's a customers email address, can you delete it from the forum please.

But good idea to look in the log - unfortunately it wasn't my address...

Very strange. So the email address is correct, actinic isn't throwing up any errors, the smtp server is happy and it's not being diverted into the spam folder.

                        That's me out of ideas.

PS. I've now deleted the email address which I always intended to do after you'd had a chance to see it.

But no, that wasn't it. Although that guy won't have received his confirmation!

Next question... are you supposed to be able to see my error log!? Methinks some urgent ftp security is required...

But is it ok to restrict access to the error log or will that break actinic...?

I'm not sure how you were thinking of restricting access to it. I wouldn't worry about it personally. There are lots of files in acatalog that are readable from a browser should you know what they are called, but they are of little use to anyone and I don't belive they are a security threat.

                              Hi
I've had exactly the same problem since yesterday as well : no copy of the customer email received so not getting the order details- can find no reason why. Have done all the checks as suggested.
Only thing I changed was the 3D security in Protx. - nothing else has changed. If anyone has any other suggestions or this has been somehow resolved would like to know!
                              Thanks
