    Error printing invoices

When I print an invoice from v7 I get

    Error detected by database DLL.
Has anyone come across this before?

    Thanks in advance

Have you made any changes to your invoice.rpt file?

Nope - fixed the problem by moving the site into 8 but am today getting the same error

      Error in File C:\Program Files\Actinic v8\Orders.rpt:
      Request cancelled by the user.
on another site printing packing lists in 8.

      Anyone?

What did you do to make it work?

I run Actinic via Parallels on a Mac I guess something had loaded incorrectly in regards to printing, after restarting it was fine

              I love your paper BTW

Must be that time of the year again, s'not working and a restart hasn't solved it - any ideas from you bright souls?

                  This is in V8 BTW.

                    Can you try the following:

                    - close Actinic
                    - click the 'Start' button and select 'Run'
                    - type 'regedit' in the 'Open' field and click 'OK'
                    - this will open the 'Registry Editor' (please be careful in here as you could mess up your computer if you delete the wrong thing)
                    - expand the following branch: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Actinic\Catalog7\Sites\<Site Name>\
                    - highlight the 'Printer Settings' folder and delete it
                    - close the registry editor and open Actinic and see if you can print your reports
                    ********************

                      Bumpity bump

Got this again on a new site in 9, deleting Printer Settings folder doesn't make any difference.

                      Any ideas please?

Are we answering this or not, i did not see this in V9

This happens when your using networked printers and they are offline, the only way i have found to resolve it is to delete the printer from the registry (obviously windows) uner the actinic software part.

This then lets you change the printer in actinic. Otherwise you cant select a new printer

I was an idiot, I hadn't run the integrated label software for the new site - I've just moved a number of sites and Actinic into Vista on a new PC from my old XP Mac - surprising how well it's running TBH!

But thank you all the same for replying
