Sorry think I've made a mistake - thought this was an actinic forum rather than dating direct!!!

Back to a serious note -

All our images are 500 x 500 and are loaded through sage. We used to convert all the products in photoshop down to 150 x 150 and automatically loaded into actinic. When we had our new website designed it was changed and now actinic resizes the images, but as you can see the quality is poor.

Gabriele said about resizing images at server level, but this is a bit beyond me I'll need it explaining a bit more.
Any more help would really be appreciated!!

How are you giving each product an image to use on your site? 99% of us, size an image to the size we want, save it in our site1 folder and then point to this image in the Image field within a product.

Norman has a neat plugin for resizing, you can see this in action

                          lessbounce.com/acatalog/Exoflex.html

the large image is fed to actinic, the small image is autoresized.

you would have to contact drillpine.biz to get the plugin

Got you. We upload through Sage Accounts in the product section. All our images are in a bitmap folder and then copied into our porreda or site1 folder within Actinic. I then upload from sage using the actinic link and put the products into the correct catagories. I also add the extended image in extended information within actinic.

                                Are you uploading bitmaps?
My God, that sounds like the most complicated image referencing system i've ever heard. KISS.
