Email server incompatibility

Hi Guys,

I have just changed my hosting package to 1and1.co.uk hosting. The package works well apart from one major problem, it will not allow the email facilities of Actinic to work. Every time I try to set up an email address for a confirmation email to be sent it gives me the message that it cannot find the email server. I have spoken to the host company who have been as good as useless and they in the end just said that there must be some form mail incompatibilty with Actinic.

Has anyone had this before with actinic and if so how did you sort it?
