Bestsellers and New Products Feature in v7

Hi everybody,

Just a quick question, as a forum search has proved fruitless and I can't seem to find it in the local help files.

Is there a feature to add bestseller lists and new product lists into a template within Actinic v7?

No, you would need to create them manually using html within the templates. There used to be a add on you could buy to do this but I don't think it is being sold anymore. If you really need it you will have to upgrade!

I wonder why Smart Decision pulled their plug-in for this? Did Actinic buy it of them for v8?

Seem to remember it was sql based. Perhaps they bought it off the for V9!!!!

don't forget Drillpine has an upselling patch, it is manual though

Less than the cost of upgrading to v8

Seem to recall it was about £250.00 per site.. but could be wrong as usual ... will have to wayback their site to see if it shows.

i had CrossSell on surfwax I think it was £299 and included

bestsellers, also boughts, rating tool and reviews

it was cool coz it was sql based, therefore i could see what was ordered without having to look at actinic (surf-wax is managed offsite) but i would upgrade a site to v8 now rather than try to add these features to a v7 site
