2 Different installs?

Hi all,

Had some nasty PC problems over last week so installed Actinic V6.5 on an older PC which I knew was OK. Imported snapshot, uploaded site and all is fine.

Now I have the laptop working again and that is where the original catalog was and i would like to go back using it again so I wanted to know: if I simply upload/d-load from the original one on the laptop, will this work or will I have to export orders/import into laptop catalog and then upload?

Will it refesh the site completely being a different PC?

Hi there

You may wish to do a snapshot from the PC onto the Laptop, so you can bring all the orders over that have been downloaded since you stopped using the Laptop.

Once you have done that, you will need to go to Web | Refresh website when uploading from the Laptop again, to force the whole site up and so the encryption is the same on your laptop as it is on the website, therefore allowing you do download order successfully.
