    Error: Phrases not read yet

When adding any product to the basket, I get the following error:

    ERROR:
    A General Script Error Occurred
Error: Phrases not read yet (-1,21)
    {./acatalog/195Z92Z168Z169A1060812719B432.cart, Permission denied}.
Press the Browser back button and try again or contact your ISP.

Anyone have any ideas on what is causing this?

    Platform is Windows IIS
    Not using Shared SSL

    Thanks

This looks like whoever is browsing the site is using a 'Norton' internet product.

To resolve this you will need upgrade to v4.1.1, then download the firewall patch (which is two replacement scripts) and use them.

    "OK Steve!"

Thanks Steve, I might be wrong but I don't think that's the problem... we're getting this from all visitors to the site, Macintosh users and Windows users, users without Norton etc.

... could it be a server-side (IIS) problem?

The only thing that could cause this (I think) on IIS is if the permissions on the acatalog folder where insufficient.
It needs read/write/execute for IIS and also the IUSR_<servername> account needs to be able to create, delete files etc. (normally the 'Change' or 'Modify' set).
