Copy and Paste crashing actinic *very frustrating!*

but there is no solution.

Basically im copying products and 90% of the time actinic is crashing.

My catalog is also very big with a huge number of products. And like the guy from that thred i copy a product and edit the info.

Is there any fix for this?

Im pritty sure its something to do with the extra information function. Anyone have any ideas at all?

Might be worth turning page preview off if you haven't already done so.

I dont use preview, it takes ages anyway!

The best work around i can figure out for this is to have a product that you want to copy, untick the extra info, so its still there but unticked.

it will then copy ok, re tick it and change the page ID.

so im guessing its a fault with the page id generation.

Have actinic stopped updating v7 for good now or should i suggest them to look at this as i definitely cant offord to pay for v8 and this is a big inconvenience
