    [] missing word?

    Hi there,
I have a problem with my site. If you have a look at my site here
    http://www.jacyscomputers.com.au/acatalog/index.html

and then click on any of the sections along the yellow navigation part at the top, right next to "home" link are blank [] brackets.

The only thing i have changed is, in catalog, the "home" button from "home" to read "Jacys Computer Supplies".

I have a sneaking suspicion that inside the blank brackets should read the words "site map" but can't find how to fix it.

I do have show site map enabled but am unsure as to if it should be showing on the navigation bar in the catalog.

Also is there a way to show the site map on the home page in the navigation bar?

Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Cheers and Thanks,

    Jacy

hi again jacy, if you go to Design>Options>Navigation Tab

if you have removed the description for the sitemap, you also need to remove the reference to the two buttons as well...

    hope this helps

      ps

you should really leave a link to your sitemap from your pages as the search engines, google in particular, rank you better and quicker if you have a sitemap in the format actinic does it...

        Hi Steve,
I still have the reference to site map in Design>Options>Navigation Tab (which is what i want). does the sitemap text usually appear in the navigation layout on the acatalog pages?

        Cheers,

        Jacy

doesnt appear to actually , if you are still having a [] appear sometimes it is as above where you have removed the description of a link but not the images associated.

even though you are using text links for the navigation, if you dont remove the reference to the image, you get the []

looking at yours i think its the up or the back button you have removed description from but not the image references

          any good ?

            Nice work Steve !!
It was the parent sections i had deleted the reference to but I left the images in. I am uploading the changes now so hopefully should be alright.

            Thanks again
