    Description layout

I've got several different types of product using various page layouts. For individual items I need two sets of descriptions, one to the right hand side of a picture of the item, the other below.

The first picture shows how I would like the page to look, the second is how I've got it to look so far!

How can i add two sets of descriptive text in different parts of a product page?

    Thanks

    Hi Andrew

    Looks good so far!

You can't split up NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTDESCRIPTION, but I suggest using custom properties for the logo image and extra text in the table cell below the main product image. If you have the text in a text file, you can specify this file for the custom property and check the 'Use File Content' box.

That's an easy one! Rather than just having one product, have two. Make two Act_ProductLine templates which create the whole table between them. This way the product on the left can be non-orderable with an image and a description and the product on the left hsa the bullet list, is orderable and has the price etc.

        Ben, Matt,

        Thanks for the advice.
I tried the customvar idea and it works a treat. After a lot of fiddling with table/cell sizes etc it looks exactly how I wanted it.

        Thanks again.
