Taking products off a javascript menu

Hi

I have a javascript menu that uses the Act_section_tree_names.js and the Act_section_tree_URLs.js to get the information, this allows every product on the site to be accessed through the menu, unfortunatley this seems to be slowing the site down as the site has grown and the script size is large! Is there a way to get the sections and the subsections to show in the menu without having each individual product listed? The sections have different numbers of subsections within them, some have three layers some two.

The best thing would be to include just the sections and the subsections on the java script rather than including two levels of subsections and products in them. you can find the java script to include sections and subsections from Advanced user guide pg #71. you can download a copy of advanced user guide from here
