protx scipt changes for v7

Hi, i am a bit confused, there are lots of post about protx changes,
I know i need to change the protx scripts, I am using V7.07
What is the correct procedure, changes I need to make.

Bruce has posted V8 changes, are these ok for V7.
actinic, judging by the numerous posts can you post something for non V8 users please to clarify.

The Protx files have not changed in v8. Same fix will work for v7 (from 7.0.5 onward - that is where Protocol 2.22 was implemented) for earlier versions you will need to run the pspsetup.exe upgrade first.
