Fragment will not appear on website!

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me with a problem with Act V7. I am creating a fragment which will show in my content tree but won't appear on my site,(error free upload!) although I have fragments being used within other sub-sections which do. Can anyone help please !!!!!

This is tuff without more info Alec. Can you post a URL and explain where you are expecting to see the fragment.

Is the fragment template the same as the others that work?

You could try copying a fragment that works into the position you want and se if that works to narrow things down a bit.

fragment not showing

Thanks for your reply. I have tried a fragment being used in a different section which is appearing on my site in the section which will not show a fragment and it will still not show on the web.

My site address is www.clickontaps.co.uk and the fragment should appear with text and title in the bathroom taps section. I have a have a test fragment appearing in the Contemporary Bathroom Taps page with no problem.

Hope this is making sense! I've been using Actinic for the past year without a problem but I've been stuck on this for a day.

Not sure, however the obvious difference is that the Bathroom Taps Section is a different layout to the Contemporary Taps Section.

I think perhaps you should first look at the parent template - the Bathroom Taps template and see if there are any pointers there as to why it will not show. Compare it to ClickOnSinks maybe.

Thanks once more for your reply. I do have a different section layout being used and will investigate.

sometimes you have to force actinic to register that a change has taken place. early 7.2 or 7.3 had a bug but you don't say what version you are running on. Sometimes I change something in say the page title and then it changes the page on the server. Then change it back. sometimes if an old page is in the site folder it used to copy that one up and not the new one.. just a thought.

Sounds like an incorrect fragment layout to me i.e. image only layout when you want to show text etc.
