Help to identify upload error (with pic) PLEASE!!

    hi people

i was wondering if anyone could take a quick look at the image below & give me a rough ide of what the error means, it brings up the error message when im trying to upload the site to the server, ive installed the network patch as Actinic suggested i do, & am using cataloge version 6.1.5, if that makes any difference.

when you try & view the shop itself it brings up the error on the link below.

any help will be great, even if its a tiny bit!

What was that?? _ if you are talking to support then get them on the case.

If not wipe your server and do a complete refresh of the site after testing the network settings.

        that's what he's doing, Gabe

let's face it, Actinic themselves do not support V6 any more so where else is there to turn?

Has it ever worked? is this a recent problem?

Consider upgrading to V8 - site owners must be prepared to keep software upto date - nothing lasts forever especially in the world of IT!!

OK. What's happening here is that your server isn't executing Perl scripts in your cgi-bin directory. Instead it's serving the source code of these scripts to you as though they were HTML pages.

This is not an Actinic fault but a server or Network Setup one.

                    Things to look at:

Are you using a server that supports Perl scripting?

Have you got the correct Network Settings? Try Advanced / Network Setup / Test.

As Norman says, it's your server hosting area that is not parsing the CGI scripts correctly. It's simply returning them as text, via the browser, hence all you see is the code when you follow your posted link.

Also, I have to admit, I read your name as
                      Cheesey Lice King! sorry!
