I have Actinic Catalog V5.1.4 and have also purchase Crystal Reports V9 so that I can alter some of the reports. Does anyone know how to alter the reports so that they can give a report of sales by sections?

I don't think this is going to be possible as product records used in the stock/catalog reports are different to the product records used in the Order Processing reports.

The former uses product details in the 'Product' table of the database (which references the 'Catalog_sections' table) but the later uses the product details in the 'OrderDetails' table.

I can't think of a way to tie the two together.

Version 6

Will this be possible in version 6? At the moment you have a Sales Analysis reports that gives you the option of sales by country, products by order values, sales by customer, and order quantity. Sales by section would help me greatly.

No, it is not in v6 I'm afraid. I will recommend it as a future development in our wish list.
