"IF" clause in templates

Could anyone please tell me how I could incorporate the following in my templates...

If "Can be ordered online" is set to No, put text "TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK"
Else put text "IN STOCK".

I'm sure it is simple, but I am more simple

You are in the V7 forum and V7 does not use <blockif> statements. Can you confirm whether you are using V7 or v8?

yes, V7 I'm afraid.

Does that mean I cannot do it?

No, it just means you have to do it in javascript and it will only work for those with javascript enabled in their browser.

I don't have a copy of V7 here but I would imagine there is a template/area in Design | Text that controls what displays when 'Can be ordered online' is unchecked. No doubt someone will be along soon who can advise, a search in the templates may help though, or you could search through Design | Text for relevant keywords
