    Charging VAT on delivery

    Hi,

Forgive me, this must have been posted before but for some reason when I search 'VAT' the forum returns no results?

Anyway, I spoke to the HMCE about delivery and they say (without any great certainty) that as a VAT registered company we must charge VAT on delivery as well as sales.

My accountant, who hasn't failed us yet, says no. Searches on the HMCE website and various others are not clear. Any ideas.

    Ta!

I suggest you get a new accountant, it is a service you provide and therefore if you are vat registered, you have to charge vat.

Try this sticky to help you with future search problems, it explains the 3-letter problem - http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=31140.
