cookie question..

Can anybody please help me, I have a test site http://212.125.70.254/actinic/ . When you click on the view basket or checkout without purchasing anything the site works as it should.

I have now placed the site on the clients server, http://www.chanel-connect.com. This time when you click the view basket or checkout without making a purchase the following error occurs at the bottom of the browser

"Opening page http://195.8.163.252/cgi-bin/ca00000...COOKIEERROR..." the page displays minus the images, the same thing happens in Opera but the page displays ok.

I am looking at the site in IE5, if I change the security settings to low within the browser, the channel-connect site works ok, but surley I should not have to do this if http://212.125.70.254/actinic/ works ok.

Your problem is that you are using an IP address for the Network Setup details for the store, but you are running everything within a frameset under a different domain.

You need to get rid of the frameset and get your store pages actually situated on http://www.channel-connect.com/ rather than http://195.8.163.252/

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately out client purchased the web name from uk2 net, so using web diversion via uk2 net, the ip address of the web server is entered into uk2 nets database and it forwards to www.channel-connect.com
