    Importing Orders

    Hello,

    I have just installed a new upgraded verison of Actinic 7 onto my new Windows Vista machine, i have everything on the new PC, my web shop etc all working fine, but what i want to do is copy all my customers orders from my old PC into the completed Orders directory on my new pc within Actinic.

    How does one do this ?

    have looked in the search forum, cant see an answer

    all help appreciated.

    When you imported the snapshot, you had a window come up with a checkbox where you could select if orders were to be imported. I'd suggest that you never ticked it so they were never imported. Try the snapshot import again and note the questions it asks you during the process. Just tick the orders checkbox and they should all arrive. You can also import orders off the file menu, although you shouldn't need to if you do the above mentioned.

      importing order

      hi, tried a snapshot again, did not get any message asking me to import orders via a tick box, how do i import the orders via the file/ menu import option..

        Rob,

        You should have an option that says 'All Orders' or 'Content' when importing a snapshot. You cannot use the File menu option in v7.
