I'm looking at using one of Mole End's marketing tools but need to know if I can install a customer 'opt in to our special offers' tick box in version 7.

You can use the User Defined third question prompt in checkout, if you are not already using it for something else. There are instructions on here on how to change the input from a text field to a checkbox.

Got it! It's already there just need to change the text to say what I want.
