Weird effect when linking to Brochure page

    Hi

I like to send out regular e-mailshots to my ever-growing mailing list, and to include links to various bits of my website - including sometimes a link to a brochure page. These links work, but there are some strange effects which can seem confusing and which I would like to eradicate if possible. Take the following example:-

    http://www.nickdobsonwines.co.uk/aca...se_Scheme.html

This is a link to a brochure page. However when you use it, it takes you first to the page concerned (without the frames which would normally surround it), THEN to my home page for a few seconds, and THEN to the correct paged, correctly framed. All of which takes quite a few seconds and is confusing to the user - it looks like they have been taken to the wrong place, as it seems to hesitate at the home page for most of the overall delay.

From what I can make out, this only happens with links to brochure pages - not with direct links to products.

    Any ideas, anyone?

    Hi Nick

I can see what you mean and I've seen this before. I've requested help from our development team on this and will post their response.

You can improve the page loading by linking directly to:
        Code:
        http://www.nickdobsonwines.co.uk/index.html?http%3A//www.nickdobsonwines.co.uk/acatalog/Regular_Case_Scheme.html&BrochureBody
It's still not totally clean but it's an improvement.
