Email error - SMTP authentication error

Hi,

When I try to send emails I get the authentication errir, and that silly prefix of numbers onto the front of the email address that should not be there ie 45567joebloggs@bla.com instead of joebloggs@bla.com

I pass all the SMTP tests and get the test email but every time I try and send an order or payment or shipped email I get that error.

To add to the confusion, the email is being sent and received, I tried a dummy order with my own email (different from the one on Actinic) and I got the emails although I got the error everytime with the numbers prefixed?

Any ideas?

A little more detail might help.

- What is the error message do you get?
- Who are you hosted with?
- What are your email network settings?
- Is the sending email address using the website domain?
- Is the email address you tested sending to on a different domain name?
- Is there an error message in your error.err file?
