    Colour Scheme Problem

    Hi

Can anybody help. I have changed some colours on in Design, Colours and hit Select. However when I hit preview the changes do not take effect.

I have customised the primary templates from what was originally a clean layout and I don't really want to have to start again, it might be obvious but I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

    Many thanks

    Mark

Are these changes you are expecting to graphics you have created?

I am still using all the actinic graphics I have not added any of my own. I'm trying to change the colours using the drop down boxes in the dialogue box i.e. pallette 1,2,3, link colours etc.

Talking with Jan this morning she said she had aslo had this issue.

I initially started with clean layout 7. However I have just tried changing colours on a version 6.1.0 I have on another machine and it was fine.

Could it be anything to do with upgrading to 6.1.3?

Not too sure if 6.1.3. has anything to do with it but I have not upgraded our sites to that version yet so cant help test it out sorry. I will try it in 6.0.2

I've tried it on my 6.1.3 and got no problems.

When you change colours, do you click 'Save' to save your changes before clicking 'Select'? If you don't do this, the changes will not be applied.

Absolutely I click save, and it does seem to save the changes to the colour scheme.

Is it anything to do with it pointing at a backed up theme that resulted when I upgraded. I would reload clean layout 7 but I don't want to have to re-edit the placement of netquotevars in the primary templates again.

Any other suggestions? (apart from changing the pallete gifs manually with photoshop etc.)

                Thanks

I would copy your overall layout template (Act_Primary.html) somewhere safe and then re-apply the Layout 07 theme. You can then copy the Act_Primary.html file back into your Site1 folder when you are up and running again.
