American Express Option Help

Hi All

I want to add the option to purchase using American Express on our web site and would appreciate some guidance.

FYI we currenty use the option to "capture credit card details for later processing" for MasterCard, Visa Etc.... This is done through Actinics Shared SSL.

I have tried a search of the forum but could not find sufficient info to guide me through what to do.

Also I can not see an option for American Express in the "business settings and payment method"...

Please could someone with a superior knowledge to myself try and assist me in the steps I should take to add American Express with details captured for later processing!!

I have tried your idea but its not really what I had in mind as your method just places an online order and does not capture the Amex card details with the order so we can process it straight away without the hassle or delays as we do with other cards...

Our current method for visa, Mastercard etc is "Credit card details captured for later processing" and places the order and captures the card information so we can process the transaction straight away.

Is there any other way to do this so we can use the same method as we do for visa etc or can the "Credit card details captured for later processing" only be used in one instance.
