Date restricted discounts

Hi guys, sorry if this sounds really stupid, but i remember reading a load of details once on date restricted discounts however can no longer find where? It may have been a PDF or post on here, but have had no luck finding any posts, does anyone have any suggestions on where to look, or which PDF it was?
Or alternatively if you know the answer to the following questions please let me know.

Basically i understand how to apply and date restrict, what i want to know is if i create the discount today for some time in the future and upload do i then need to do anything? Or will this discount come into affect midnight of the correct date?
Also can i do rolling consecutive discounts, one ending at midnight and another one starting?

Hi Pete,

Yes, it can be done, Actinic will automatically start the discount on the date specified and would end right at the start of the date specified in Valid Until; you don't need to do anything closer to the date to activate the discount.
